THOUGHT FOR TODAY: NIRVANA (a place or state characterized by freedom from or oblivion to pain, worry, & the external world) The soul experience has many layers. Once I solve and comprehend one layer, another presents itself to me. The self, though fundamentally of one stuff, has countless manifestations. There is no part of me that I cannot use to better know myself. In fact, I must know all of me, invite all of myself into view in order to mature, grow and become fully human. I am in a position to move more easily beyond my smaller self into higher states of consciousness when I am not being pulled on and held back by my own hidden parts. I look for peace in many places. Nirvana removes the craving for further becoming, the craving for the cessation of becoming. Finally, Nirvana and medicine both give security - And these are the ten qualities which Nirvana shares with space. Neither is born, grows old, dies, passes away, or is reborn; both are unconquerable, cannot be stolen, are unsupported, are a road respectively for birds and Arhats to journey on, are unobstructed and infinite - Like the wishing jewel, Nirvana grants all one can desire, brings joy, and sheds light. from Buddhist Scriptures GODSPEED
