THREE THINGS LEARNT FROM THE 20TH JANUARY PRESIDENTIAL BYE ELECTION 1. Eastern province does not vote on tribal lines . Those who attacked me by saying i am Easternized now know how objective the easterners are. Very fair people they are. Check Sinda and Chadiza election results and then check Monze Central results. 2. PF has a weak grip on farming areas and rural voters. 3. To penetrate southern Province, PF does not need to do business as usual but adopt more extroverted, creative, outside the box kind of thinking and stop relying on the so called seasoned experienced politicians but look within cabinet for courageous and daring individuals. Engaging Youths, Women and traditional leaders will help the party penetrate and thus bring development to that part of the country which has been starved of economic progress since 2001 because of its own eighteen or so biological sons and daughters (UPND members of parliament) who have mercilessly blocked and frustrated development projects at the expense of poor peoples welfare. one (01) Jesus died for Billions of people on earth in order to receive salvation. In Southern Province, Thousands of innocent citizens in each constituency must suffer poor standards of living and economic retardation so that one (01) holy UPND MP must live a comfortable life . This inverse and reciprocal painful mathematical relationship is what must be broken in southern Province if Government really loves its people.
