TIE SALE! Saturday, May 31 from 8AM-12PM & 1-4:30PM at the Alaska Railroad Birchwood Yard. Ties are 8-1/2 ft in length and can weigh 160lbs+/-. Bring heavy duty trailers & pickup trucks, tie downs, gloves & plan for the day. Forklifts will be on site, interested parties must bring enough man-power to load their own trailers. (ARRC will not manually handle ties for customers.) Cost: $5.00 each (no sorting). Cash or Check only, 50 tie limit, per person. Directions: Take N. Birchwood EXIT onto Birchwood Loop Rd going past the Christian School. Birchwood Loop turns into Birchwood Spur Rd, going towards the Birchwood Airport. Turn left into the yard just past SBS Center.
