TKym Bogie Shurbutt - The Calvin Gilmore theater In 1986 after auditions had closed Kym showed up pressing me to add yet another cast member - he a singer guitar player. But no more budget for musicians but he pressed on so I told him he could help with sound and lighting. On the day before opening night the comedian (Bogie) became deathly ill. Enter Kym Shurbett (new Bogie) never been a comedian - we all saw it immediately including the writers of He-Ha who I ask to review the show before opening. The rest is history. A natural!
