*TO ALL MY FRIENDS. PLEASE READ!!!* Before bed, I wanted to address something. Had a discussion with a friend and it got me thinking. I have read the Matt Walsh blog on suicide and its comments about Robin Williams. It got me thinking. He does make some valid points, but at the same time, I cant agree with his handling of it. Its something that people should address. True depression is a black pit. It is like existing in a fog that no light can penetrate. You become a prisoner of your mind. It isnt weakness. Not one bit. You dont think of loved ones because you cant feel anything but the pressure, pulling you down, making your body heavy. I think Matts heart may have been in the right place, but you cant stop suicide by demeaning those that suffer from the thoughts of it. A choice it may be, but when your arm is on fire, do you not try to put out the flames. I hate this whole thing. I even went so far as to comment on the post. I told him that putting something out like this could be made to look like he was trying to capitalize on a celebs death and that if this issue was something he had been through, why wasnt it posted in relation to these people instead of waiting until now. There is a middle ground that has to be reached. Compassion is the only weapon that I believe can help. Guys, and I mean this, if you ever need to talk, never hesitate to message me. I will always answer asap. There are always ways to make it, though it sometimes doesnt look like it. We each have a tolerance of pain. I can dive pretty deep into the darkness without losing myself. Just know that you are loved. You are a human being. We all are. We all hurt. We all make mistakes. I may joke about everything, but its my way to vent stress. Maybe I can help point you toward the light that you need to find. Never give up! I have lost too many people to depression. Ill help all I can.
