A voluntter writes ~ He has previously lived with children and is still very much a puppy himself , very affectionate and just loves a good scratch. Tye was a little shy when I first met him, or maybe just a little nervous to find himself so far from home, but warmed up very quickly. He is very loving and affectionate. He is very quiet in his cage and keeps things very tidy; he is quick and eager to relieve himself outside and seems to have housetraining. He knows sit and takes treats nicely. He pulls some on the leash, but is very attentive. When weve seen other dogs Tye seems interested and like he wants to play! He is young, but Tye seems pretty mellow and like he has been taught boundaries. He loves to prop his paws on my arms and get lots of pets; while rubbing his face Tye sometimes mouths my thumb, but I hesitate to even use the word mouths as he is SO gentle and it never escalates...it is almost like he is trying to return the favor...not social grooming, but social affection! Tye loves to be in the company of people and will make such a wonderful addition to a family!
