TONIGHT! “The High Cost of Low Wage Jobs” Monday, January 20th from 6:00 to 7:30 PM at the Lincoln Auditorium in the Idaho State Capitol. Please Join us for a panel discussion on the impacts of low wage jobs in Idaho. The Idaho Jobs Coalition invites the public to join us for a panel discussion of Medicaid expansion and the impact our state’s decision about this important program has on jobs and wages. This year’s conference marks the third annual event sponsored by the Idaho Jobs Coalition, a group of labor organizations working to make Idaho a better place to work and live. The Panel Moderator for the event is Dr. Louis Schlickman, MD, from Idaho Health Care for All. Panelists are Christine Tiddens, Public Policy and Communications Director from Catholic Charities of Idaho, Alex LaBeau, President of the Idaho Association of Commerce and Industry, Maria Gonzales Mabbutt, Latino Vote and Farmworker Advocate, and Toni Lawson, VP of Government Relations, Idaho Hospital Association. This is a public forum. Each panelist will give a short presentation, and then members of the audience will be invited into a discussion of this very important topic.
