TOUR DE CURE VISITING SCENIC RIM Beaudesert will host an overnight stop by the Tour de Cure charity ride on Wednesday as part of its second Queensland Country Tour to help fund local cancer groups and cancer research. The riding group and their support crew will stopover on 28 August as part of a four-day 534km trek from the Gold Coast to Brisbane via Warwick and Esk. At each overnight stop the Tour de Cure will donate $5000 to aid local cancer support work at a community dinner. On Wednesday the riding group will also visit Tamborine Mtn State School from 11.45am-1pm and Beaudesert State School from 2.30pm-3pm, while on Thursday they will drop by Kalbar State Primary School from 9.15am-10.15am.
