TOWARD THE BRISBANE G 20 SUNNIT IN AUSTRALIA NOVEMBER 2014 IMPORTANCE CHALLENGES AND PRIORITIES I will attend tomorrow night the Public Discussions which will be hosted by Lowy Institute for Foreign Polices in Sydney on issues associated with Australias Chairing the G 20 Summit in 2014 Australia will assume the Chair from 1st December 2013 and the Summit well be held on 15-16 November 2014. THE PANEL WILL INCLUDE: 1) THE RIGHT HONOURABLE PAUL MARTIN, Prime Minister of Canada from (2003 - 2006) and Minister for Finance from (1993 - 2006), he has referred to as the father of G 20. 2) Dr Gordon de Brouwer, Associate Secretary, Department of the Prime Minister and Cabinet Australia and Australias G 20 Sherpa. 3) Lourds Aranda, Former undersecretary of Foreign Affairs, Mexico and Mexicos Sherpa when Mexico Chaired the G 20 in 2012. 4) Rahinto Medhora, President of the Centre For International Governance Innovation (CIGI). The summit will be the largest International Economic Meeting ever held in Australia. G 20 bring together Finance Ministers and Central Banks Governors from 19 countries: 1) Argentina 2) Australia 3) Brazil 4) Canada 5) China 6) France 7) Germany 8) India 9) Indonesia 10) Italy 11) Japan 12) The Republic of Korea 13) Mexico 14) Russia 15) Saudi Arabia 16) South Africa 17) Turkey 18) The United States of American. 19) The United Kingdom. PLUS: The European Union, which will be represented by the President of the European Council and by Head of the European Central Banks. G 20 members represents almost: 1) 90% of Global GDP 2) 80% of International global-trade 3) 2/3 of worlds population lives in G 20 members countries. 4) 84% of all Fossil Fuel Emission are produced by G 20 countries.
