TRYING real hard not to be political, cause I still cant talk about The DARK(Democratic Apathy and Republican Kochs ) 4th. But it all stems from the disrespect and hatred of President Obama. Conservative campaigns and their dark money overlords bet on running against someone who wasnt even running, and they used every scare tactic the world provides to win. This country should be ashamed of itself for believing the lies and being scared enough to elect fascism. Just wait til they kill programs that help people (SNAP, Pell grants, scientific research, and on and on) refuse to even vote on minimum wage, privatize Social Security, giving it into the hands of Wall Street, and kill the Affordable Care Act, driving millions back into uninsured status. All because the extreme right votes and we dont, plus a whole lot of voter suppression along with gerrymandered districts that ensure the GOP cant LOSE the house. All because there is a black family in the White House. The corporate overlords saw their opportunity and took it. President Obama has acted with respect and an open door, even to those who have openly slandered and insulted him. But I too wish he had done just as Samuel says.
