TUESDAY 3RD JUNE WEED YOUR HEART “Sow to yourself in righteousness, reap in mercy; break up your fallow ground: for it is time to seek the Lord, till he come and rain righteousness upon you.” Hosea 10: 12 God has conditions attached to every of His blessings. Therefore if you are ready to meet His conditions, then your blessing is set. One thing you need to do is to weed your heart of everything that has replaced the seed of God’s word in your life. Those things could be (1) not having passion for God, (2) not having vision for kingdom matters and matters of eternity, (3) cares of this world, (4) the deceitfulness of riches and (5) the vanity of earthly pleasures. You and I know that a heart like this is not void of bitterness, jealousy, envy, malice, competition, contention and strife that lead to nowhere. You need to break up your fallow ground so that rain of righteousness will fall. Confess your prayerlessness, carelessness and hardness of heart before God. Be thorough. Pick the issues one-by-one, no matter how trivial. Confess and commune with God until your heart is tender, broken and receptive again, then will the rain of righteousness fall on you.
