TUESDAY STRIDERS ON THE MOVE! Great run today Striders! My thanks to the tough and boisterous crowd that hit our starting line today under difficult humid conditions. It was sweet to see 2 Tuesday first timers, welcome to the fun goes out to JoAnn Payne Chang and Cassie Hopkins, we hope you both had good and yes, fun runs. Also, it was great to see Jen Fischer-Martinez # 7 back where she belongs! We have missed you friend, thanks for joining the action. World traveler Miss Michele Howard had a sweet 5er; Kimberly Erickson when not swallowing large bugs had a good one along with Alex and future iron man Dad Doug Erickson. Miss Claudia Aguilar may have had the longest run at 8 solid miles; Miss tri champ herself, Chris Nicely Snyder, while we love her was immediately placed on probation due to refusing to bring some first place hardware for our Show and Tell portion of the show. Party queen Miss Jenni McDonald Baker # 10, proving that the big 4-0 is just a new beginning showed no ill effects from too much birthday and had a good one with hubby Dave Baker. Speedsters and early risers Miss Liz Goffinet Decot and Felicia Sawyers crushed a solid 6 or 7 or whatever. Nice to have Felicia back in town! Tom Connolly was closely watched by loving sister Lisa Connolly Antle and those two looked good, Mark Palamar had one of his patented conservative runs but when you are staring at a 46 mile August race, perceiving energy is a good thing. Nice to see double day tri star Shannon Maness back on a regular basis. Also good to see Joseph Gibbons # 1 out getting in a good 6. Christina Marie smoked the course before flying off to work. Good to have my favorite paining company owner Mr Shane M Carlson out with a tri under his belt. Have a great rest of your day everyone!
