Tabots owner was very ill and had to move in with her daughter. I called him Botsky. Bots was being cared for by the room mate who worked 18 hour days. I would hear him cry to his owner and his sibling puppies and so I offered the room mate to go in and visit him. I discovered a full bred elder himmy with mats so bad he couldnt sleep properly. When I attempted to groom I cut his leather away and I flipped out and ran to my computer to ask for help Vanier Street Cats sponsors raised $300 to have Bots shaved and vetted. Today he is back with his owner, living with his dogs in his owners daughters house. When they found out how lonely he was and the lengths a neighbor went to for him they made it work and the room mate begged the owner to stop his pain he missed them so much. When she came for him, he was the happiest elder cat alive. This is what we do, we help poverty line pets to keep their people. Once shaved and cleaned up the new dogs in the new house decided to put up with him and his owner has him in her arms.
