Talk about a rude awakening! I was sleeping peacefully when Leroy awakened me that our palomino Triggers right hind leg was caught under the barn lot fence (in the manure pile) and he needed my help and Haleighs help getting him up. Leroy cut the fence, pulled back both sides, secured his back legs and then his front legs in a rope and we were able to pull him over onto his back and onto his left side to allow him to stand up after a brief rest. We have no idea how long hed been down. We just hope he suffered no injuries or damage. Haleigh is giving him some TLC so hopefully hell be fine with just a bath. Im ready for a cup of coffee now!!
