Tall Timbers Thunder is thrilled to announce that Nick Haywood will reach the fantastic milestone of 350 SEABL games this weekend in the home fixture against Dandenong, having formerly reached the magnificent tally of 300 games on the 6th April 2013 against the visiting Sandringham side . Co-Captain of the team, along with BJ Jenkins, Nick has been a fixture in the side since commencing in 1998 in the then CBA competition. He has been a fantastic on and off-court leader, who has maintained a tremendous level of performance over this sensational tally of games. Nick sets extremely high standards for himself and invariably goes out and achieves them. In a league that seems to get bigger and stronger all the time, Nick has often had to “punch above his weight” but it would surprise no one in the Thunder organisation if Nick continued to maintain a highlevel of training, enthusiasm and performance right through to the next milestone of 400 games. Congratulations from everyone on an outstanding achievement. The club will recognise Nick’s outstanding efforts on Saturday night during and after the game. We would love everyone to be a part of it.
