Tanner Update... He made it through the surgery fine. They took the old tube out and stitched the hole shut. As they were moving his intestines to prepare for the new hole, his stomach broke loose and moved out from under his diaphram and started moving freely the way the stomach is supposed to. So he decided to just re-do the G tube. Its in the stomach up where it should have been originally. Dr Jenson is very optimistic that this will work this time, :) He put Tanner in ICU so he could have his nurses undivided attention. We will probably stay in ICU until Monday and then they can move us back to the floor. They put a PICC Line in his leg so they could draw blood, etc. Without having to stick him. They cant give him anything in his stomach for at least a week to ensure that hole heals and wont leak. So, they have changed all his meds to IV.... Anyways.... Just wanted to give quick update before I lay down... Its been a very long day since I woke up at 4:55am this morning. Thanks again for all the prayers!
