Tapping Tip: When working through an issue, the more SPECIFIC you can get, the better and longer lasting your results are going to be. That means instead of tapping on, Even though Im so stressed out…, you focus specifically on what exactly, in as much detail as possible, is stressing you out. For example, Even though this upcoming project, with its looming deadlines and all the pressure to get it done right is stressing me out…Even though Im worried that I wont do it right and that they wont be happy with me…Even though Im scared that Im going to repeat the mistake I made last time… and so forth. Also, if you can trace the emotion youre feeling to a prior specific event, even better! What specific memories come up when you think about the issue? Tap through those memories, clear out the emotional charge, and then change happens. Get specific, make sure to rate the intensity of your challenge on a 0-10 scale, and tap through all the aspects of your issue! :)
