Tattoo shop FAQs Can I bring friends?: Yes, but please respectfully limit the number and ask your artist ahead of time as a courtesy. May photos/video recording of my tattoo be taken?: Again it is up to your artist. You shouldnt be squirming around with your phone out though. Friends taking them often mistakenly crowd your artist, block light and get in the way of the tattooing. So again, be respectful with it. Its my body and my design, so shouldnt they just tattoo it how I want?: Not necessarily, we are professionals who will not simply tattoo because you have money. Do not be put off or offended if we tell you the idea is a poor one or needs improvement. It may be your body but it is our work, we wont attach our names and reputations to it if its a bad idea. However, we are happy to work with you to make something we are both fully happy with. Are you taking walk ins?: Almost all the time yes. However if you arrive and we are busy you can not hold it against us (just sit and wait your turn). Walk ins are first come first serve and not all designs or ideas will qualify to be a walk in tattoo. Some designs will need booking ahead of time. Can I bring art a friend made for my tattoo?: Absolutely, but please remember your friend is not the one tattooing it. Your artist may decide to improve the design, rework it, or scrap it all together and make their own. A tattoo design is more than art. It is a technical drawing which is made to age well and fit the body appropriately. So there is just a handful of FAQs for you to browse.
