Teaching Yoga in Kathmandu can be really inspiring, and the people - TopicsExpress

Teaching Yoga in Kathmandu can be really inspiring, and the people I meet are all part of NGOs, UN Workers, Educators, Professional Climbers and some pretty intense Humanitarians. You dont really meet back-packers here, it doesnt generate that kind of energy. Today I met a fellow Canadian from Ontario, she is working here Educating Children from Lower Castes, so they can break free from the system, and find work that pays well. It always amazes me how far people step out of their Comfort Zones to give back, and contribute to Communities and Societies with so much Heart and Soul. We talked about Yoga in Ontario, and brainstormed about what the Ideal place would be for Yoga outside of Toronto. I myself am a little tired of being in such a saturated Yoga Scene, and would Love to be in Nature, and also introduce Yoga to a New Community who is craving an Alternative Healthy Lifestyle. Ontario is such a beautiful place, and if we drive an hour or 2 away from the Big City, we find ourselves in places that are Magical. I am in Love with Canada, and dream of establishing myself as a Teacher and Healer, who can share everything I have learned in Asia these past 10 years, and spend more time closer to home. The Question is fellow Ontario friends- if you had to choose a Place to create a Yoga Community where would it be? Suggestions, Ideas, Inspiration welcomed. I know I could find Property for very cheap, and partner with some Local Farmers to create a Healthy Food Menu, a Yoga Retreat in the Wilderness, maybe within a Community filled with Art, and Alternative Living......
