Team Assistant - NBN Visionstream is one of Australias premier providers of infrastructure services to the telecommunications industry. We are part of the Leighton Group of Companies, listed on the ASX and Australias largest construction and project management group. We are currently seeking a full time Team Assistant to join our NBN team in the Hobart office. The purpose of the role is to provide administrative and clerical support to the Project Delivery Director and NBN team. Team Assistant/Personal Assistant Responsibilities: · This role supports the Project Delivery Director in driving his direct reports to deliver their commitments to the business, this means employing effective organisational and administrative processes, together with smart practices, to facilitate the successful achievement of the projects objectives. · This role requires solid support for the Project Director in the form of diary management, travel and email management handling a wide range of tasks on tight timeframes. This role is face paces and there is never a dull moment. Being able to function efficiently in a variety of roles on behalf of the Project Director under minimum supervision is paramount. · This role supports the wider Tasmanian NBN team in managing general office administration, invoice reconciliation, coordination of conferences/meetings and extensive travel management. Additionally this role coordinates incoming queries and requests for the National team internally and externally. · The Team Administrator demonstrates, promotes and lives the core values and guiding behaviours of the company, and represents the company in interactions with clients, communities, subcontractors and other key stakeholders associated with the company. Skills and Experience To be successful in this role the candidate will have the following skills, experience and demonstrate the below competencies: · Previous experience as Administration Assistant// Personal Assistant / Project Coordinator · Able to prioritise and meet deadlines · Attention to detail and high level of efficiency · Extensive team and people management skills · Able to influence and engage across all levels of the business · Problem solver and a quick thinker · Self-driven to achieve business outcomes and able to carry our administration duties under minimal supervision · Ability to operate in an environment of uncertainty and incomplete information and make well-reasoned decisions · Highly proficient in the use of Microsoft Office systems with a high level of accuracy attention to detail · Able to liaise with colleagues & clients in a professional & positive manner · Degree/diploma in Business Administration and/or 3 years experience in a similar role As this position is actively required, short listing will commence immediately.
