Team Brenda report. Saturday, October 25. She had a rough night - TopicsExpress

Team Brenda report. Saturday, October 25. She had a rough night last night (pain, insomnia, worry) so Brenda slept much of the day today. She has not even had a chance to listen to any of the music on the two CDs that a friend compiled, wrote clever and caring commentary for, and delivered yesterday (thank you, Debbie Rubenstein). Or the original music from the always caring, always amazing Steve Stoeckel. Housecleaning is frequently on MY weekend agenda. But I put the noisy parts off so I could be quiet today. Thank goodness I had done some of it yesterday after getting back from teaching four hours at CPCC. Great design students! Two stellar reports, the best textile project notebook Ive seen yet, lively discussion, excellent questions, no complaints about the test I gave them. I didnt need to cook when I got home because I had already made a big pot of vegetable beef soup (yummy, if I do say so myself). But that was yesterday. And yesterdays gone. When Brenda woke this afternoon, I finally did the noisy chores -- vacuuming, dish washing (man, putting away flatware and plates is LOUD), washing and drying a a load of clothes (hey, the linen closet door makes noise), etc. after I served Brenda soup and a popover (half) sandwich for her light late lunch. But I think Ill go get us some takeout seafood at Harbor Inn for dinner. Its not far from here, its good, its affordable, we like it, and I dont want soup again tonight. Oh, may Brenda be able to eat it. May she enjoy Willie the Wonder Cat jumping up on her bed and sniffing around the fish. May she have a more restful night. And may tomorrow be a better day.
