Technology is a projection, materialization, crystallization of consciousness. We have the idea for a tool, we create the tool, and then the tool reveals a new aspect of our being. We then innovate, iterate, create a new tool, and the process happens again. Consciousness continuously changes as a result of the tools we create and the worlds they reveal to us. Could this be anything other than a natural process, as we are that part of the natural world that has become self-reflective and capable of directing our own evolution? Can we master our projections of technology, or is our destiny to be subsumed by our creations?
