Teeflex, biologically named Adebayo Raheem, hails from the Western part of Nigeria. He was born in Ibadan but bred off in Lagos where he incidentally gathered most of his life experiences right from an infantry age. He started doing music at age 7, following the traces of Wasiu Alabi Pasuma, Saheed Osupa, K1 De Ultimate, Alao Malaika and other fuji artistes to compose Fuji music which was largely inspired by his mother who has been a die-hard fan of K1 De Ultimate, Osupa Saheed and Late Alh. Sikiru Ayinde Barrister. Earlier on, he began to grow musically in accordance with the positive effects of the countrys renowned music. At the age of 12, he was already mature enough to discover and make a blend of his own style of singing. Basically, he picked 9ice, Asa and 2face to be his Nigerian musical idols; while Rihanna and Akon, his Foreign musical idols. However, he was later introduced to a dude called Da-Genius, an extra-ordinaire producer at Nu Comrades studio, Festac town, Lagos, where he professionally did his first solo track titled Non-stop Party in 2010. Afterwards, he has sung a couple of songs suitable for the listening pleasure of the people and is not relenting in satisfying the ear, mind, and body of the people in the entire nation and other parts of the world. Moreso, he is known to be a creative writer(songwriter and scriptwriter), singer, actor, motivational speaker, and a performer. As an actor, he has played prominent roles in stage dramas, Soap Opera(Pilot Episode) and earned himself a commendation as the best actor in The Campus Players (T.C.P), an entertainment group in Moshood Abiola Polytechnic, (MAPOLY) Abeokuta, Ogun State. As a writer, he contributed two different feature articles to the 2nd edition of TALENTS GIST MAGAZINE, a publication of T.C.P, MAPOLY. He also has archives of drama scripts and stories in his portfolio. Musically, he has performed alongside popular artistes in Lagos and Ogun States and gains admiration as regards his style of music delivery spiced up with his rhythmic voice and flamboyant stage charisma. Teeflex draws his inspiration from God and nature, and for this reason, he is focused on being himself. His music genres are Pop, Afro-Pop, Afro-Rock, Afro-Hiphop, RnB, and Soul music. He listens to any good contemporary Nigerian music and foreign music; most especially, songs by 2face, 9ice, Asa, BrymO, Rihanna, Akon, Usher, Taio Cruz, Jay Sean, T-Pain, Bruno Mars, Chris Brown, Jason Derulo, and Keri Hilson. Well, he is so addicted to Rihannas songs and Drakes raps but allergic to unreasonable songs. Recently, he set up an implied music clique called ExNation with his colleague, Bidex which is intended to certify and define their sort of music. ExNation was certainly put to bed through a music combo between the two artistes Teeflex and Bidex and the song is titled LADDER depicting their journey so far in the industry with the requirements for the attainment of success. One of his greatest motives is to establish a new phase of contemporary Nigerian music and take it to the top-most level of admiration to the neighbouring countries and the western world at large with his undeniably tremendous vocal and peculiar style of singing.
