Teenage mother allegedly kills her child Police in Sikwane have arrested a 15 -year -old teenage mother for allegedly killing her one- year -old baby boy on Friday at Ramonaka village in Kgatleng district. According to Sikwane Acting Station Commander ,Assistant Superintendent Boipuso Baatweng , nurses from Mmathubudukwane primary hospital informed them of the incident. “They told us that the child might have been strangled to death. We took the mother for interrogation and the grandmother told us that, she was informed that the child was sleeping at around 5 pm by his mother. Later in the evening she went again to check on him and found the baby still asleep. She then became suspicious and took the child to the hospital where he was certified dead,” said Baatweng. Investigations on what could have lead to the babys death are ongoing.
