Teenagers! Who want to write! A course for you! STARTING TO WRITE APRIL 21 – 26 Tutors: Ruth Thomas & Jane McKie Guest: Don Paterson GRANTS ARE AVAILABLE IF COURSE FEES ARE A CONCERN! We are more than happy to consider anyone for a grant and a grant of any size – finances should not limit your creativity, no matter what your circumstances. We have places still available for our forthcoming STW course next month! This course is ideal for prose and poetry writers who are beginning to think about their writing on another level. This week long programme would see residents spend time with other writers at the beginning of their practice. It is tutored by highly respected novelist and short story expert Ruth Thomas and former Edwin Morgan Poetry Prize winner Jane McKie. The guest this week is the much-acclaimed poet Don Paterson. This course is also especially suited to 5th and 6th year secondary pupils with a passion for English and takes places during Easter break. The fee for this course is £650 for a shared room and £700 for a single. However, grants are readily available.
