Teller of tall tales Iain Duncan Smith estimates 10m to be on - TopicsExpress

Teller of tall tales Iain Duncan Smith estimates 10m to be on Universal Credit by 2016. Currently 17,850 are on it. David Mundell told the Welfare Reform committee at Holyrood that they would not be rushing the roll out. Too many contradictions. There are no contingency plans for setbacks and the National Audit Office report cant see that it will ever save money. Indeed, adjustments to the system mean more will need to be invested in staff training. If they say that 3 million people will be better off, than we have to assume that the other 7 million will be worse off. Id sack IDS and Universal Credit but I expect they will limp along until the election. What does this guy know about them that they continually overlook his incompetence? theguardian/politics/2014/nov/26/coalition-universal-credit-it-scheme-wasting-billions-watchdog
