What can be done to make graduation rates increase for the African American students on the north side of milwaukee? Better school material, dedicated teachers whos willing to put in time, and eliminating of electronics and other distractions from school. New material as far as, New school books is well needed. Students get discouraged when they open their school books and find they are missing assignments theyre given. So to minimize the cause of rejecting to school assignments, the work needs to be there. Updating the school electronics is a well needed object for students. Without the proper tools to connect to an assignment giving online can be a cause to fail online duties. Dedicated teachers is a well needed source for students with short attention spans. Catering to the needs of students who have problems, is a must. Without the attention needed to go further in lessons giving , its impossible to carry on. A teacher should make sure his/her student is capable of understanding she/he is there to help in rough times. Last but not least, the banning of personal electronics should be confiscated doing school hours. Using the students electronics can be also use for school purposes to make assignments interesting. If schools can break the distractions of social media; Facebook,Twitter,etc. Schools can see a change in behavior with students. Concluded I believe, school graduation rates will increase, if the above matter can be taken in action. Students and teachers will see the results in no time.
