Terrianne Thiel-Machin five years ago tomorrow my son received his new Kidney. It worked. He is still alive..he will never be completely well..and their always a big cloud of rejection looming over his head. Every cold, every pain..a fever sends fear in my heart. But he is alive..he is creating..he is giving back. He has a chance to continue his live and love his wife. He went through an arduous journey..he with the help of social media found his own donor...I thank that man every day of my live. The donor gave the most unselfish gift he gave part of himself to almost a total stranger. His own mother wasn,t by his side but fell apart and was no comfort at all. His transplant gave him another chance at life. It gave me a chance to turn my life around and put more determination in myself. I have a very brave son. He had a very brave donor..It was a match made in heaven but executed on earth. If you have a friend, a neighbor, a loved one or a total stranger...hold out your arm and be tested.
