Thank God for everyone at Dr. Peases office. They were the dental group we always went to when I was a kid, and when Aspen and our new dentist couldnt do anything until tomorrow, they were able to help me out. We did an x-ray of the chipped tooth and it needs to either be extracted or have a root canal. Since I dont have dental insurance, they discussed the free CCiA dental program and said I would be the perfect kind of person for it. Until then, they applied a paste called IRM that smells like chai and gave me an antibiotic. Theyre planning on calling me to follow up tomorrow and the first Saturday of October I will be heading over to the primary school for a free root canal. Obviously this means I will be missing at least part of homecoming, but Im still hoping to come for at least part of a day. Honestly, though, I am mostly just super thankful for small family run dentists who look out for you and groups like Canandaigua Churches in Action that our church participates with for helping people like me in dire straights out.
