Thank you Charlie Brown! I remember that trip well! One way to get to know someone is to take a scuba diving trip with them to the middle of nowhere and watch them swim with sharks. Ralph Heap and I and some friends spent a week in the vast seas around the Galapagos a few years ago. I caught him in deep thought more than once. Now I find out his political philosophy is the same as mine and he is running for State Senate. I think politics takes more courage than scuba diving and this was advanced diving with heavy currents.
