Thank you John, I have to agree with you and Rush. Posted by John Rush brought up an interesting thought, our American culture is unique, hence exceptional (i.e. exceptionalism). I do believe America was founded through divine guidance, the men and women (you hear so little of the women) who founded our God-blessed nation did listen to the voice for God. I believe in American exceptionalism. Back to the point that Rush brought up, exceptionalism and our American culture. We Americans are born free with the belief that everything is legal until a law is written specially declaring it illegal. In other counties, Europe for example, they see things differently, they are born “criminals” & “law-breakers”; in these countries the belief is nothing is legal until a law is written saying it is legal. The statists today want to change American culture, they want us to think our exceptionalism is wrong; they want us to be more like other countries; they want us to look to government for approval before we do and think anything; and, they want us to be born criminals and not freemen. The great dangers we face today are the government (state and federal) departments. These departments write regulations that have the power of law. Just look at two, the EPA and FCC, you can easily find regulations (thousands of pages, see the photograph this post is attached to) that say what you do is illegal, i.e., the light bulb -v- the curly-que. Saying you are American means so much that you didn’t know – we’re God-blessed to be born in America -- we’re freemen.
