Thank you Susana and John for the amazing hospitality here and taught me how to fish in Perth! Currently in the airport and heading back to Singapore for a short wedding immediately after touching down on friday. It has been an amazing experience for me as I got to witness the wonders of perth and its amazing quality of sunlight in this Summer/Spring. Susana has been really wonderful to get onto my nerves by asking and replying with the most random ideas. And all the wonderful tips about fishing and aviation industry by John, its really fascinating to know about our aviation industry in Singapore tho! As I call it a closure for now in Perth, I reflect how personal it is to shoot with couples one to one on overseas trips like this. Like Kenji and Sharon on Taipei last week and many more couples last year, I just love how personal we can get during dinner and talk a lot about work related stuff and also their hobbies. If my memory doesnt fail me, I remember Sharon from the Taipei lovescapade asked me how about grouping 4 - 5 couples together and shoot all of them together, its a good business strategy tho! But then again, I guess I will lost the personal touch and creativity to create very individualistic images for each couple. Most scenes would definitely be quite standard of posing and shooting technique, and definitely gonna miss late night suppers with couples out in the streets in a cold night.
