Thank-you Sylvie Having Sylvie Guillem as an Ambassador for the Sea Shepherd Conservation Society is an incredible honour. Known as the most exciting modern dancer in the world she is a legend in Japan where she is presently performing Carmen with the Tokyo Ballet. In this interview with the Japan Times, Sylvie gives her views on Fukashima and voices her support for animal causes and for Sea Shepherd. Two years ago I had the very great pleasure of meeting with her in a Parisian cafe where we had a long conversation about the state of the oceans. Her passion for dance is matched by her compassion for life and all of us with Sea Shepherd are proud that she has lent her voice for the animals, for the oceans and the planet.
