Thank you all for the birthday wishes! (I think I read and acknowledged each one....) Today began my last year before I hit a really monumental birthday and I saw some signs of that special birthday hitting already. 1. Dan took me to a nice restaurant Friday night because he would be out of town today. Im always having people tell me they see someone that looks just like me. I have a common face, I guess. For the first time Friday, while we were eating, I looked across the restaurant and saw someone that looked remarkably like me! I told Dan and told him that she even had the same color shirt! He looked where I pointed and said, Diana, thats you. Youre looking in a mirror. 2. While I was putting on my makeup this morning, my phone rang in my bedroom. I didnt have my glasses on and after I finished with the call, I looked for them. Keep in mind that I cant even put toothpaste on the toothbrush without my glasses on.... For 15 minutes, I was crawling around on the floor, patting the carpet, reaching under the bed and dresser, shaking the bed covers to see if I could hear them fall...because all I can see is 100% blur...then I remembered -- they were on the bathroom counter because I had been putting on my makeup. Thank you to my friends who are going to be there next year when I have totally fallen apart..... ;)
