Thank you all for the warm birthday wishes, they sure made my not so great day much better! I know that 40 is my new beginning or will be once my next surgery is done - hopefully my last surgery and the final chapter to this novel! As I wrote in a card to my nephew Steven who has been fighting his own fight since March, been through hell and back and has been brave through it all, at the age of only 19....one day all this suffering we have gone through will become our story....what we went through and survived and maybe it will reach someone going through the same thing and give them enough hope to fight and win! That we are surrounded by angels and that even when it seems so hard to stay and fight, we stick it out because of those Angels! So I will allow this one last bump in the road....the final chapter to 2014....I have already been through this surgery, so I know what to expect....not easy and a long recovery, but I can and will get through it!
