Thank you all for you kind words and your support of sharing this stat and your prayers for my U.City classmate Steve son Stevie. As we prayed Gods will be done, it was Gods Will to take him home. Here is Steve’s update: God called our son Stevie home this morning around 10am. He got a mighty good one today. The outpouring of love, light & prayers is overwhelming and appreciated, and will continue to be during these difficult days to follow. Stevie battled leukemia for the better part of the past 6 years, and kicked its ass. But like many cancer patients, our tiny giant was fallen by a bacterial blood infection. Stevie was an extraordinary kid, loved by anyone who ever met him, but you already know this if you had the pleasure of meeting him. Looking at Stevie as he lay in this hospital bed lifeless is so surreal, painful and aggravating. Watching his mom and grandma clean up his body is difficult. But weve been blessed to have such amazing family and friends surrounding us that we will move on. Steve Landau I am truly sorry for your loss. I offer my condolences to you and your family... Matthew 5:4 says “Blessed are those that mourn, for they shall be comforted.” I pray He comforts you and your family, I pray that the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard you and your family’s hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. I pray you and your family will Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding, I pray He heals your families broken heartened, binding up your wounds and comfort you. Know that God is your refuge and strength, a very present help in times of trouble. I pray He will turn your mourning into gladness and will give you comfort and joy instead of sorrow. (Philippians 4:7, Proverbs 3:6, Psalms 147:3, Psalm 46:1). I will take this time speak on behalf of all my facebook friends and family that have liked, commented and shared my last stat in petition of your request of prayer of behalf of your son, I believe they wont mind that I say this. We will continue to lift your family up in prayer. You are still in our prayers.
