Thank you all so very much for your prayers, posts, texts and emails - it has meant so much to us! Judah update: Day 3, Judah had a good night, got rid of about half the fluids he retained during surgery and post-op. We were able to wean the norepinephrine to almost nothing (releases more blood flow to kidneys so they can work better) but that did mean Judah got hooked up to an external pacemaker to keep his blood pressures higher. Judahs blood gases have all come back right where they should be, praise God!! Team agrees once Judah can get off ventilator we will see his sats improve even more. Goal for today is to get off some more fluid and then going off ventilator tonight or in the morning. Judah has had his eyes open quite a bit and seems to be enjoying his baby lullabies thanks to our Child Life staffer who also brought this darling photo collage to show everyone our Judah when hes not so medicated :) Please continue to pray with us for: - increased oxygen saturation levels - continued fluid output as needed to get swelling down - divine wisdom for Judahs care team as they make decisions for Judahs road to recovery and discharge.
