Thank you all very much for the birthday wishes! It was nice getting all of them throughout the day and it helped make it even more special. Thank you to my girls dear Aunt Angie Meyer Selk and my sweetheart of a niece Taylor Selk for taking the girls and my niece Karley to make gingerbread houses so Kyle Selk could take me out to lunch. He took me to Red Lobster and we decided to share a yummy meal along with some soup. A few minutes into our meal, we heard the couple behind us order the exact same thing to share with each other! We spoke to them as we were leaving and the ladys birthday was on the 19th. What are the odds? They also recently celebrated their 25th anniversary and Kyle and I had our 15 yr anniversary in August. To end the day, we met up with my lovely niece Katie Selk and Cathie Wade to enjoy some ice cream. I cant believe I didnt take any pictures! Guess I deserved the day off from my ameteur photography. :) It was truly a wonderful day filled with lots of love and happiness. I couldnt help but reflect on where I was 2 years ago on my birthday. I watched the doctors and nurses take my baby back to the OR to remove a large tumor from the base of her skull. The best gift was hearing the neurosurgeon tell us they got it all and that Karis was doing great. Each year I get to see her and my other beautiful girls, is always a gift. I have so much to be grateful for. Thanks again!
