Thank you everyone for your concern and kind words. I am fine. The semi-truck did damage to my car but I was not injured. I had just dropped the kids off at daycare so they were not in my car when this happened, thankfully. The body shop will not be able to get to my car until the first week of December so until then I get to drive around with no driver side mirror and a big gash in the side of my car but I can still be completely thankful that there were no injuries.
