Heres my #ALSicebucketchallenge If Im honest, I think it shouldnt take things like having to chuck cold, icy water over yourself or a selfie etc to motivate someone to want to donate to a charity. We should teach ourselves to be selfless without having to draw any attention to ourselves in the process. I dont mean to be such a wet blanket (no pun intended), but I am from a continent where not everyone has access to water, so wasting water for the benefit of someone else who is suffering or disadvantaged in another area of their life doesnt make much sense to me. Despite that, I am aware these rather sudden phenomena (like the no make up selfie of yesterday) result in a great deal of good for charities and ultimately, human beings in need of it who benefit, so because of that, I have chosen to do it too. Im donating to ALS as well as WaterAid. I apologise in advance for the not-so-great visuals/general quality as well as my horrendous screaming.
