Thank you jodi kras wingfield for nominating me for the ice bucket challenge and am happy to tell you that I have donated. I think that those responsible for this fundraiser should be applauded! The campaign is remarkably well thought out and the influx of money (Iast i heard around $100 million) will certainly be a game changer for those dealing with ALS as patient, care giver or researcher. So before I get to nominating people, I would like to say this: I can’t tell you that ALS is more or less important than any other charity, but if you are an emergency services worker, it should be at least equally as important to you as PTSD. I would like to nominate every cop, medic and fire fighter who has done the ice bucket challenge to send a matching donation to Tema Conter (tema.ca)
