Thank you joedigrazia for a lovely review on TripAdvisor! What a lovely and peaceful place for a hotel. From our window facing the front we could see green hills dotted with sheep, and mist and sunlight flashing over the hills on the horizon. Our room was huge and so was the shower and bathroom-!! (compared to the other hotels we had stayed in.) When I took a shower the water came down like a Texas hurricane. Even the hallways are extra wide, complete with sofas to sit on. I have never seen anything like this before !! There was so much space on the floor that I could do my yoga exercises and push ups easily without knocking over a lamp of hitting my head on a dresser. Everything, the beds, floors, and bathroom were super clean. We kept the window open at night and it was like natural air conditioning. Wish we could do that in the summer in south Texas,but wed be sweating in less than ten minutes. The only thing I didnt like was the fact that we were far from town with only taxis to take us into town. It would have been nice to have a free shuttle sevice or even one with a reasonable fee and set hours for going and coming to the hotel. But, inspite of this, we had a nice stay and I would reccommend this hotel to anyone.
