Thank you to everyone who came out to 100TPC-Khartoum and made it...we dont even know what to say…just the most amazing night of the year! Thank you for supporting the Arts, for supporting poetry and spokenword in Khartoum, for supporting our poets and NWN in general. Wed like to once again thank all the people and entities who helped to make 100TPC-Khartoum possible: our gracious audience, KICS, Mutaz Elneel and Abdelrahim Kattab, and Attiat Gamal - patron saint of Nas with Notepads, who swooped in and saved the day when we thought all was lost. To those who couldnt make 100TPC Khartoum and emailed us, thank you for being so considerate, and we hope to see you at an #NWN event soon. To those who couldnt make the event and didnt bother to tell us, well, you made us sad. We should also mention that there was a lot of confusion regarding the guestlist, as many people forgot to check their emails for confirmation from us. Ma3laish, a3fu laina w 3afeen minnakum. :) NWN relies heavily upon the use of email. So our advice to everyone is: check your email regularly! Unfortunately, because the show started late (our guests were on Sudani Time), many poets couldnt make it on the stage. Our sincerest apologies to those poets, who worked hard to make 100TPC-Khartoum a good show. We promise you priority at our next NWN event. Many of you were also waiting on the livestream; unfortunately last minute technical difficulties didnt allow for it. Were so sorry! :( But fear not! We will be uploading the video from last night to our YouTube page (NasWithNotepads) very very soon! So! We bet those of you who were there are really curious about those poets who couldnt make it on the 100TPC-Khartoum stage… wanna see their performances? Then join our mailing list and receive email invites to our monthly events! Send your full name (first+last) to nwnotepads@gmail (subj: mailing list). Remember, NWN events are by private invitation, so you *must* be on the mailing list to receive invites. But joining it is so easy, so yay! Also remember that our regular events are MUCH smaller than 100TPC-Khartoum, so always keep in mind: first come first serve and the early bird catches the worm!
