Thankful to have faith which stands in the power of God? yes and - TopicsExpress

Thankful to have faith which stands in the power of God? yes and amen. To each of us a measure of faith has been given. Sometimes in life, we may have our faith tested in a way that could easily cause us to wonder various things dealing with life, prayers, etc. We should call to remembrance the time when the Messiah our Savior gave the disciples power and authority over all sickness, disease, and demons, and how they went out and came back victorious. Then shortly after that, they became faced with a situation where they were casting a demon out of a child while Jesus was up on the mountain with 2 of the other disciples. The disciples who were trying to cast the demon out were unsuccessful and only when Jesus came down from the mountain and cast the demon out with "word" "command", is when the child was set free. However one other thing to consider in this is that the child did appear to the natural eye to be dead when deliverance and freedom first took place. Later the disciples who were unable to cast the demon out, asked Jesus why they were not able to do so. Jesus replied that some only come out by fasting and prayer. This in and of itself shows that Jesus set the standard and example of devotion unto God with regular fasting and prayer as a lifestyle and relationship unto our Father in heaven. Is God calling you to fasting and prayer? May we all be obedient in all things God calls us to. I love you and thank God for all He is doing in and through each of His people. God bless you! >>>[..] FAITH SHOULD NOT STAND IN THE WISDOM OF people, BUT faith should stand IN THE POWER OF GOD. [.] WE SPEAK WISDOM AMONG THEM THAT ARE PERFECT: YET NOT THE WISDOM OF THIS WORLD, NOR OF THE rulers OF THIS WORLD, THAT COME TO nothing: BUT WE SPEAK THE WISDOM OF GOD IN A MYSTERY, EVEN THE HIDDEN WISDOM, WHICH GOD ORDAINED BEFORE THE WORLD UNTO OUR GLORY: [.] GOD has REVEALED THEM UNTO US BY HIS SPIRIT: FOR THE SPIRIT searches ALL THINGS, YEA, THE DEEP THINGS OF GOD. NOW WE HAVE not received THE SPIRIT OF THE WORLD, BUT THE SPIRIT WHICH IS OF GOD; THAT WE MIGHT KNOW THE THINGS THAT ARE FREELY GIVEN TO US OF GOD. {1 Corinthians 2:5-7, 10, 12 KJV} by: Daniel James
