Thanks AT&T Update- Still no landline service and even worse DSL so weve cancelled our landline. Only received robo calls anyway so no big loss. However, AT&T said that after they disconnect landline, see how DSL is running and if not doing better, call them back. Oookkkaaayy. So heres the game. You place your bet on one of these options and see who is correct. No prizes except the satisfaction of winning. Just like the Olympics but without a medal, a crappy hotel room and no one speaking Russian. So after the landline is terminated: A) DSL service will improve significantly and there will be much joy in the village; B) DSL service will be the same or worse and a sacrifice will have to be made to satisfy the Gods; C) There will be no DSL service because the Gods screwed up and thought we said cancel all services and thus the village is plunged into darkness and chaos; D) Julia Roberts (no relation) will drop by for croissants and coffee and we ended up having a wonderful conversation; E) The Gods will not only restore DSL service, they will call and apologize for the 2 1/2 weeks of disrupted service and grant us 3 wishes. Choose wisely. GO!
