Thanks for asking me to put this poem here Harry :) The -- *Hidden Killer* There is a hidden killer trying to eat away at many innocent souls each and every day. There are judgemental people who will not take the time to ask a question or wonder the reason to another’s rhyme. There is a wrenching pain tearing at an aching heart. Nothing shows on testing but a life is being torn apart. There are times when screaming seems to be the only cure. Do people around understand? Of that, I’m not too sure. There are times, never ending where there seems to be no relief. Chronic pain really does cause symptoms like stricken grief. There are muscles in the body that don’t respond to a doctor’s script. Life in itself seems worthless. Too hard for an average person to encrypt. There appears to be storms brewing in an affected person’s brain. An inner voice trying to escape screaming “here we go again”. There were those once with us who could no longer bare the many hidden signs of pain that lurked in lost minds out there. There is a hidden killer and I sincerely hope and pray, this hidden killer can be destroyed that lives among us every day. © Heather Quarry 2008.
