Thanks to Cath Smith it looks like after lots of worry we may have found the reason Skye has been stiff and unable to race since April. Her lymph nodes behind her hind legs were badly swollen which meant that she has had an infection all this time. I believe she may have got an infection from her unusally long season in April. Our vet give her an antibiotic injection last Tuesday and she now looks like she is finally in recovery.Today is the first time in a long time that Skye looks like her old self, shes got a spring back in her step and has been bringing toys to me to play. Just need to hold her back and rebuild her fitness then hopefully shell be back running soon.
