Thanks to Michael Kelley, I was challenged to take the ice bucket challenge to raise awareness of ALS. My brother-in-law, Mark Miller, has been living with the disease for 5 years now. I now challenge 3 people to take the plunge with me - Mark Henderson, Brittany Landry and Megan Beth Browning. The challenge is to dump a bucket of ice and water on your head or make a generous donation to your local ALS chapter. You must do this within 24 hours. Oh - youre probably wondering about the biking gear? I had just returned from a 20-mile practice bike ride for the 2014 Harbor to The Bay bike ride on September 20th. I was pretty warm after the ride, so an ice cold dunking was worth its weight in gold!
