Thanks to a new ordinance passed by the city of Fort Lauderdale, a 90-year-old man and two members of the clergy are facing jail time and hefty fines for serving food to Floridas homeless. According to the new law, you must have a permit (or permission from property owners), supply portable toilets, and be at least 500 feet away from residential homes to feed people outside.
