Thanks to my cousin Robert Heffernan for posting this wonderful picture of my maternal Grandfather, Anthony Rispoli who I never got a chance to meet. The second one is mine that remains on my refrigerator as a reminder everyday along with my Grandmother and a baby that we are still to this day trying to figure out who it is?? I only got a chance to know my Grandma until I was 12 before she passed away!! He was a wonderful man from all the stories that I heard growing up from family members like my mom, aunts and uncles who knew him dearly as well as friends of the family!! I share an odd and ironic date with my Grandfather as he passed away June 24, 1949 1:30am and I was born June 24, 1964 2:30am. Thats 15 years and 1 hour later!! Just a little weird and makes you wonder, but Ive always felt honored to share this date and strangely close to a man, my Grandfather that I never had the pleasure to meet!! :)
